Avengers 228 Cover

A favorite cover from a favorite period in Avengers history: "The Trial of Hank Pym." Whether or not Jim Shooter meant it or not (see his blog), Hank hit his wife The Wasp and ended up working with Egghead and the masters of evil. Janet ended up dating Tony Start briefly, and all of these story threads have been picked up in the Ultimates and other places.
This cover was originally drawn this way, and then the hands were flipped so the right hand would be swearing. I have posted the original STAT version as well.
