Description

A tip of the ol' Two-in-One hat to fellow theme collector Michael "One Minute Later" Finn for connecting me with Mike Gustovich for this commission. This was a great commission experience. Mike worked quickly, kept in touch and really brought his unique artistic vision to this drawing (exactly like I wanted).

For this commission, I asked Mike to draw 'his' version of page 15 of Marvel Two in One 76 using nothing more than generic character reference and a re-created (text-only) script. Mike had just done a commission with the Thing in it, so asked for a page focusing on Iceman.

SPOILER ALERT: On this page, Iceman faces off against Firebreather, then uses his freezing powers to escape the clutches of the evil Flying Gambonos (members of the Ringmaster's Circus of Crime).

Excellent storytelling, beautifully drawn. One of my favorites in this series!

Mike really did a fabulous panel-to-panel transition here and the characters look dynamite....
