"Red Birds" Sketch 1 by Noel Tuazon

This illustration was one of three that I bought from Noel. I’d heard his name mentioned several times in the local comics scene but had not met him until TCAF. The characters are from his short self-published book “Red Birds”. It had no words but was about a girl and her dog. In the end, to escape attacking wolves, they turn (or are turned) into the red birds of the book’s title. (Toronto Comic Arts Festival, 2010/05)
