Thanks goes out to Daniel Partouche for organizing the opportunity to get such a nice piece of work from Mike Perkins. I've been a fan of his ever since I was exposed to his work a few years ago on Captain America. It appeals to me because I feel that Mike blends old school looks with modern senses, a bit like Gene Colan to me. I've had the pleasure of meeting Mike before, and he's such a gracious and nice guy. I'm very happy to add this piece to my collection.
