DescriptionThe pencils for a double page cover, inks and colors to follow.I wanted to have the three companies (which include "Standard Comics" Golden Agers as well as some of my own creations (the Sentinels)) fighting each other, but nobody from the same company could fight, so I had to split it up into four teams - DC/Marvel/Golden Agers/Mine, then figure out how to pair them so it wasn't like Earth-One Superman versus the Wasp. What a pain. But, I think they're reasonably good matches (yes, even the woman fighting Thor - it's my Universe, and if I say Optima can taken him, then she can! Suck it, Asgardian!). Who's Fighting Who: The Clock vs Wildcat - the Clock was the first masked comic book crime fighter, therefore he is super-cool TNT Todd vs Iron Man - TNT Todd. Yup. That was his name. UltraMan vs Wonder Woman - UltraMan's one of mine, from a parallel earth where Ionia persisted as a rational/scientific society blah blah blah Black Orchid vs Black Canary - little disappointed Orchid's clothes didn't come off like her two actual Golden Age appearance, but what can you do? Raven vs Batman - Raven is another of mine, yeah he's clearly an ... "homage" to a certain Dark Knight, so what? Alan Scott vs Scarlet Witch - magic time Crimson Streak vs Silver Streak - CS is mine, SS is a golden ager Atom vs Doll Man Ms Marvel vs Dr. Quantum - DQ is another of mine Amazing-Man vs Superman - AM's powers are sort of magic based, so it's not completely insane Thor vs Optima - Optima is another of mine, the leader type all the other's look to for inspiration Vision vs Infra-Red - IR's mine, but I don't really have much beyond the costume in mind (FYI - she's screwed) Captain America vs Grim Reaper - WWII vets fight! Shield vs Sword. Cool. Social/Sharing |
