DescriptionI have always been an admirer of Stéphane Roux's artwork--particularly the manner in which he captures the feminine form. When I discovered that he would be on the guest list for Heroes Con 2011, I thusly hurried to set up a pre-show commission with him. One of his assistants, Popeye, helped me with the process, proving an extremely nice and friendly gentleman. The thing was...I had only set up the commission a few weeks before the show. I'd hoped I hadn't made a mistake and structured things so I'd end up with a rushed piece. What you're seeing is the virtual masterpiece Mr. Roux presented me at the show. It's an absolute jaw-dropper of a piece...and I actually stood there stunned into silence in front of his table while I looked it over time and again. Mr. Roux is a true gentleman, however, and managed not to laugh at my reaction (out loud, anyway). Easily one of the highlights of my collection, it makes me smile every time I look at it! Thank you so much, Popeye, and thank you, Mr. Roux!!! :D Social/Sharing |

Cool one, makes me think of an AH style commission, how he did them a few years back. But this shifting out of her clothes is original, funny and a bit SSSssssssssexy :-)

Her expression, that gleam in her eye.. priceless!! As a whole, I think this is my favourite Roux piece. He executed your idea perfectly! I'm laughing over Lockheed, his sleepy expression '...and where have you been?'. A true gem, Carlos. :)
