Description

Brilliant Artwork by Alan Weiss & Terry Austin! Alan makes a rare entry into Sci Fi with amazing results..a Space Vampire story with a Woman who could pass for "Dark Phoenix".Terry was at the top of his game in style and penwork.This page was inked at the same time as the classic Bryne/Austin "X-Men"and that style clearly shows in the rendering & textures.In just the 1st panel Terry shows why his inking was "the style" for the late 70's and the entire 1980's.[ it is sort of strange how ten years later I worked on a book called "Hellstorm"..note the name "Hellstrumm" in the copy!?] Big thanks to both Alan & Terry for sharing this art with me...I often look at it and know that there's always more craft to learn..------contact Alan surrealdeal.net
