Thoms sends another hand-illustrated postcard to the men of the San Francisco Call Art Department, letting them know what's been up with Raymond Crawford "Cupe" Ewer since his arrival in NYC three weeks before. Ewer had been to visit the Vanderbilt Cup Race in October 1908, and was totally enthralled by the experience, as pictured by Thoms on the front. A wonderful piece with a great portrait cartoon of Ewer.
