San Diego Comic-Con 2011

      Classical music has it's three B's, I have my three C's: Carl Barks, Charles Schulz, and Chuck Jones. I have always loved their works since growing up in the 1960's, but I don't normally seek out vintage original pieces because of the expense and issues of provenance. However, I've gotten lucky and found affordable examples of Barks and Schulz. In 2011, I was lucky again. While working in my brother's
Stuart Ng Books booth before Preview Night, a customer brought some of his finds to offer for sale. I didn't even see it then, but Stuart walks over to me, shows it to me, and says: "You'll want this." Some art collectors avoid pieces with inscriptions, but this one is special:

"TO IONE - A LOVING RIKKI-
