Daredevil Vs. The Riddler "Deathtrap!" by Ron Wagner

I have long-coveted this awesome piece of art in Gal Schwartz's collection here on CAF, so when the opportunity arose to coax it out of his hands, I was ultra-eager to add it to my collection. The Superhero Universe cross-over images depicted in the DC vs. Marvel card series tapped into the 12-year-old collector in me, whom used to wonder what it would be like to see my favorite Marvel heroes (especially Daredevil) up against the heroes and villains published by the "Distinguished Competition." Apparently, this concept triggered some youthful exuberance in Ron Wagner, as well, as he really delivered a very inspired rendition of the classic deathtrap scenario, featuring a seemingly doomed Hornhead at the maniacal mercy of Batman's famous rogue, The Riddler. I love everything about the over-the-top suspense and atmosphere in this one, and I'm super-excited about the opportunity to have added it to my collection of Daredevil art. Thanks so much to Gal Schwartz and Malvin V. for making this transaction possible, and thanks to my wife, Rachel, and my mother-in-law for working together to acquire this for me for my birthday.
