Description

As many other comic artists, Martin Jamar started out drawing caricatures of his teachers when he was still at school. As a totally self-taught artist, he made his debut in 1985 with 'Les Aventures de Fran�ois Julien', a historical series scripted by Franklin Dehousse, of which five episodes were published by �ditions du Miroir and later Alpen.

In addition, Jamar was present in Je Bouquine with an adaptation of 'Ivanhoe', and in Tremplin with illustrations. In 1993 he created 'Les Lettres de Feu' with Yves Charlier for Lombard, and started the series 'Les Voleurs d'Empire' in the collection Grafica of Gl�nat. 'Les Voleurs d'Empire' ran until 2002
