Punisher #4 page 12 - 1998 series

I love the Punisher character. First of the grim and gritty vigilante anti-heroes. His popularity only waned in the 1990's because Marvel over exposed him. He carried five differnt comics in the early 90's.

I love Wrightson's work - who doesn't? A nice monster type page by him is out of my price range.

I wasn't a big fan of the story behind the 1998 Punnisher mini series. Back from the dead, caught up in a war between Heaven and Hell and the criminals he killed are sort of a demon army. Whatever. But the art was by Wrightson - some of his last comic book work. And it had demons and such. Which meant some real potential art wise.

This is (for me) a perfect page. The Punisher blazing away with a freakin Minigun on the top third of the page - and a highy detailed Wrightson Demon on the bottom third. And I didn't have to sell my car to purchase it.
