Description

Super cool recreation for the title splash panel for Adventure Comics #51 (DC, 1940), by this issue's original artist, the legendary Creig Flessel.

This superb image opened the story "The Pawn Broker," written by Golden-Age great Gardner Fox. Both Flessel and Fox were pioneers of the famed Golden-Age of Comic Books with many of Flessel's covers for Adventure Comics, Detective Comics and More Fun Comics being beloved classics by seasoned collectors. O'l Fless was a superb person as well. Rest easy, my friend.
