Description

Judge Rummy comes across a poor unfortunate whose wife makes him wait for her outside the headquarters of the prohibition society while she does her shopping. The humanity!

This may be the earliest use of the slang term "dumbbell" (a stupid person, not a piece of sporting equipment) in print.
