Alpha Flight Vol. 1, # 81 Cover

"The Quest for Northstar (Part 1): Prisoners"

As far as I know, John Byrne only drew two Alpha Flight covers outside of his original run on the title. This one and #82.

The comic was released in February 1990, but on the side of the artwork it says "Dec. 4, 1986". However, next to his signature, John Byrne wrote "EH-T-9" (or "eighty nine"). He also spelled the comic title as "Alfa Flite" I have the original logos on a separate sheet of acetate.
