Description

Cyborg Superman "Wizard Piece"

This piece is interesting. It says "Wizard Piece" on the top, and I know I have seen it before, but I can't remember where and I can't find a published image for it. I assume it was published in Wizard magazine. I emailed Brett Breeding and he was very kind in his response, but he couldn't remember either. I also emailed Dan Jurgens, and he said he wasn't sure but he though they made a trading card from this as well. If anyone knows, or has a copy of the published image, please let me know.

Regardless, it's a amazing image! I'm always like the Cyborg Superman!

You kill me Gary !! All the good stuff ends up in your collection !! I think I saw this in the SUPERMAN TRIBUTE special that Wizard had published during the whole Doomsday storyline... I may be wrong, but it's an awesome piece ! Funny thing is, I know remember rooting for the Cyborg Superman to be revealed as the "one true Superman" out of the four... How off the mark I was, eh ?

Jurgens is one of the most underrated artists in the business. I sure hope to own one of his works in the future. This is a great page, but yes it may have been in Wizard because I don't see it in any of the pages from the regular series.
