From the finally released Games GN. We have page 77 by George Perez and Mike Perkins. Always loved Starfire as a character and to be able to get good battlescene of her by her creator George?? Couldn't turn it down

Great page, my friend!! Did you attend the NYCC? I know that pages from this story were on sale at the con.

No. Wish I could have gone. Haven't won that Powerball yet. This was on Ebay so used my know how to get it for a good price.

Maria. Thanks alot. I do appreciate the compliments. I've always been a big fan of Perez since New Teen Titans 1. I've been lucky enough to get a few Perez pages in the past but nothing like this.

I was tempted to get a page from this novel, as I really like Perkins inks over Perez. I was tied to another purchase and couldn't make it, but I'm glad to see such a great page landed in your collection ! Congrats !

I was debating on this. There were so many good pages it was very hard to choose. It was between this and a Troia page.

Very cool page, I can see why you wanted it. Shot of Starfire at the bottom is really cool, great expression.

George is definitely on top of his game here, especially on this and other Starfire pages. Great layouts and figure work. Perkins also has to be commended for inking Perez better than most other artists have in 20 years. And when you familiarize yourself with Perkins' more illustrative approach to comics and realize just how contrasting both men's styles normally are to each other, that's really impressive!

I think George always put special effort into drawing Kory. When you create a character, it's less a job and more a labor of love.

Totally agree with your saying this is a labor of love for Perez ! The layout is fantastic and of course no one draws Starfire as well as his creator. Congrats for scoring one of the best pages of the whiole book !

I agree. My only thing is how they are seperating inks and pencils now. I don't like that

You can really tell when an artist loves a character he is drawing - it always shows and you can def see it here with Kory. Wonderful addition to your collection
