DescriptionUpdate: Veteran inker Gary Martin (Blue Devil, Doom Patrol, Nexus, the Moth) has completed this drawing with some very smart looking inks.Previously... Pencil commission by the talented Steven Butler, who is perhaps best known for his work on Silver Sable and Spider-Man in the 1990s. As with the other drawings in this series, I asked Steven to draw 'his' version of page 22 from my beloved Marvel Two in One 76 - using nothing more than generic character reference and a re-created (text-only) script. SPOILER ALERT: The Ringmaster's plan is falling apart rapidly, so he releases a pack of circus animals into the audience at his show. This page really showcases Bill Foster (aka Giant Man; aka Black Goliath), who snaps out of his hypnotic stupor and transforms into character. The ever-lovin' Thing and bad guy Terrax the Tamer make an appearance in the first few panels. My thanks to Steven for the great commission experience. Social/Sharing |
