DescriptionStandard Comics Team-Up #576 (November, 2011)Elimination Challenge! In this modern issue of the long-running classic team-up series, recurring gun-for-hire Raven-villain, the Eliminator, tackles his toughest assignment yet - eliminating super-heroine the Black Orchid!! But her boyfriend the Grim Reaper wasn't part of the contract! ~~~~~ Anything bad about this cover is on me, anything good is talented young artist Craig Cermak and the fantastic logo design skills of Christopher Ivy. I know the CCA isn't used any more, but maybe Standard Comics kept it going a little longer. So, perennial favorites the Black Orchid and Grim Reaper are here, sporting their modern costumes (as designed by me!) and a villain I came up with a long time ago, the Eliminator. Craig turned in this awesome cover (pencils and inks) with my ham-fisted attempt to put in Chris Ivy's cool logos (I did the incredible "Team-Up" part), etc. Based, of course, on the team-up books of the big two: DC's "Brave and the Bold", "DC Comics Presents", and Marvel's "Marvel Two-in-One", "Marvel Team-Up" Characters (C) Roy Johnson 2011 Social/Sharing |
