DescriptionPage 004 – My daughter has been attending the MCBA shows in St. Paul since before she’s been able to walk. When the 2011 FallCon came rolling around, she came as well with sketchbook in hand. I’ve become friends with Cory Carani through the years, and was visiting with him at his table. Scott Beaderstadt’s table was right next to Cory’s, and Scott has a lot of eye catching artwork on display with a wide variety of characters, many kid-related. Amethyst saw that he had done a Scooby-Doo print, so she decided that she’d ask him for a sketch of him. Scott did a great job on this, really taking his time on the piece. It was to his benefit, as both Amethyst and my wife purchased several prints from him while we were waiting.Social/Sharing |
