DescriptionStatic was one of Gaar Williams' revolving panel titles, usually showing some sort of domestic tension. The gag here is pretty self-explanatory, and the drawing is just beautiful. The mid-to-late 1920s was Williams' heyday in terms of drawing, with fast and juicy line work throughout his work. He had one of those lines that never stopped moving, adding the action taking place in the scene. August 15, 1929.Social/Sharing |
