L&L 0010 - H.M. Brock - Highwayman

A lovingly detailed depiction of a highwayman plying his trade.

First (?) published in the UK magazine Look and Learn issue 10 (24 March 1962) in a full page colourised format. Later used again as the front cover image for Look and Learn 11th March 1978.

Then it was reprinted as the splash page of a Dick Turpin story that appeared in The Bumper Book for Boys (1975 - edited by Leonard Matthews) called A Debt Repaid.

Possibly originally dating from the 1950s and intended for the non-published Dick Turpin Annual. Signed by H.M. Brock
