Description

A wonderful "Metropolitan Movies" original panel from 1949, by the great Denys Wortman. The woman in the foreground says: "Believe me, them two weeks in the country with the sunburn, and the indigestion from eating so much - and the not sleeping from the band playing till one o'clock - I ain't rested up from it yet."

I love these "sheet hanging" panels of Wortman's, with the swaying sheets and laundry set against the NYC background. I believe that the Empire State building is in the background.
