These are sketches from the back of Page 46 of The Last Galactus Story. I think these are done by John Byrne.

Looks like designs for the Kryptonians on the Superman re-launch.

I think that these are one of the first sketches that Byrne did for The Man of Steel, in spite that he drawed them one year before the distribution of the series. Your original was published in Epic Illustrated #33, which had cover date of December, 1985, which hit the stores around a couple of months before, in October. Since comics are produced a couple of months before their distribution, we could assume that this page was drawn around August or before. According the article published in Amazing Heroes #96, Byrne got green light for the project from Dick Giordano in a party that Byrne gave when he moved to Connecticut the July 25th, 1985. So dates match. So congrats, they are historical sketches! And thanks for sharing them.
