Description

This was commissioned by Toy Biz..even though it was used to pitch the animated show to Fox..they wanted all the characters ..Silver Surfer, Warlock,MoonDragon, Thanos, Pip the troll, Tharx the Destroyer,and of course Galactus! The art size is BIG..22 1/2 by 16 1/2 on duo-shade paper..BIG!..it must have impressed..they picked up the show!..as a kid I loved the Roy thomas/Gil Kane Warlock book..bought them all new from 7/11..Silver Surfer was cool but his book was tough to find..saw all the ads, which made me want to buy the damn book..if I could ever find it..didn't get the full run until I was 13 in 73'.BTW this art was STOLEN FOM MARVEL ART RETURNS..thankfully returned....did I say this was STOLEN FROM MARVEL ART RETURNS..........!!!

man,i've never seen this one before,over 10 years old and it still holds up extremely well. LOVE this piece. very powerful design.
