DescriptionRebecca Guay makes her first appearance to MTG art through the Alliances expansion. Her strikingly classical style with heavy use of watercolors is heavily influenced by the works of fairy tale artists from the early 20th century. Controversy arose when a new art director felt that her work was too feminine for the vision he had for the game. This led to an uproar as she had a huge fan base being the favorite artist of many fans. She has done at least seven sets since the controversy. Alongside Melissa Benson and Terese Nielson, she brings a strong interpretation to fantasy art from the female perspective. Social/Sharing |
