DescriptionLondon Super Comic ConventionLondon 25-26 Feb 2012 http://www.londonsupercomicconvention.com/ Part of my A-Z sketchbook. I thought of the Red Skull as he had done a great job with him on the recent Avengers book. I had come up with the idea of R is for Red Skull and also Razor, with the Red Skull looking at it like "wtf am i supposed to do with this"? Naturally Howard just took the piss and said no way - though did begin to pencil it before abandoning it. Howard "i'm a cheap date" was a real entertainer and it was great entertainment queueing up for the sketch. Particularly interesting was hearing how he was sent the script and 400 still photos for Star wars to assist drawing the comic, as well as a visit to filming and seeing the models being made. The stills were very static and didn't really capture the feel of the final film. He said he thought it wouldn't be a hit - if he thought it would have been a hit he would have made a bigger errort!
