(2012, Pen on watercolour paper - 22"x22")
Such a huge incredibly detailed and beautiful illustrative piece by Mr James Jean. I'm not sure if James has produced such a piece like this before, full of so many quintessential and gorgeous elements of his work. Truly amazing how imaginative and creative his mind is.

Very hard to capture the true colours in the scan (it's been colour matched on a mac), it has an ethereal quality about it because of the slight magenta hue of the red ink.

Thanks again James for making this guy a very happy fan! =)

That is something truly unique and special, Peter. Jean has taken his intricacy and detail to a new level with this piece. I can only imagine how powerful it must be to view in person...
