Description

Page 13 from issue 253 of DC's "Batman" (Vol. 1, 1973). Pencils by Irv Novick and inks by Dick Giordano. 10.6" x 15.8" trimmed art board.

I still have my original, coverless, torn copy of this comic. It's the one I really remember as a kid. On the first page my Dad was trying to teach me how to write, and the page has "BATMAN," POLICE," and "FBI" written on it (the words got simpler as he realized his son was an idiot). Nearby his writings are my scribbles where I unsuccessfully try to copy what he wrote. Great memory, so I was really thrilled to be able to purchase this piece. Only two small panels with Batman and one with a very lanky-looking Bruce Wayne. So not a horribly exciting page, but priceless to me. :)
