Stan colours Usagi and Leo fighting a whole mass of tentacles, while he and Peter read comic books, oblivious to the action. Published in the program guide of the San Diego Comicon in 2009.

Love it! I think I saw this in person when the Cartoon Art Museum in SF had an exhibit of Stan's work a couple years ago.

It would have been a reproduction or print, as I purchased the original from Stan at the San Diego Comicon in 2009. Saw it in the guide book, and then saw it for actual sale on his table so... had to have it!

Ahh, I must be confusing it with a different TMNT piece I saw at the gallery. Regardless, congrats! His watercolor pieces are always really spectacular.

Indeed, which is why I'm fortunate to have as many as I do (there's still more left to scan and put up!). You might have been thinking about this piece, as this WAS auctioned off to raise funds for the Cartoon Art Museum: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=874324&GSub=128262 .
