Justice League Of America 224 pg 17 Chuck Patton & Dick Giordano

This issue had an early Kurt Busiek story and featured art by Chuck Patton and Dick Giordano. This page features a lot of Paragon talking on it, but it does have a good shot of Green Arrow. It also falls in sequence with a couple of other pages that I have from this issue so I had to have it.

While he doesn't get the same love that other artists who did art for the JLA series do ( George Perez or Dick Dillin for example) I thought Chuck Patton's work was really solid. Shame that he was the artist on the series for the poorly received "New" Justice League as I believe that really tarnished his reputation and causes Patton to be under rated as an artist on this series. I also feel that Dick Giordano's inks brought out the best in Patton's work. Then again, I kind of feel that Dick Giordano's inks complemented a lot of the artist's he worked with.
