Sweet page by two wonderful (and underrated) artists ! Their run was before my time as a reader, so I've just recently discovered it and enjoyed it quite a bit ! ![]() I had started reading Justice League when Perez was handling the art for it. I picked up all the back issues I could find and my appreciation for Dillin and McLaughlin's art has grown over time.especially as they worked on so many great Gerry Conway stories. Appreciate the kind words. |

1975/08 Justice League # 121, page 12 by Dick Dillin & Frank McLaughlin. Kanjar Ro vs Adam Strange. Owner: Arnie Grieves Comment posted on 2/18/2015 Kanjar Ro and Adam Strange in Justice League as drawn by Dick Dillin and Frank McLaughlin is pretty special. Having the page before this, which is a lot of exposition, you can see the subtle touch that Dillin incorporates of having Kanjar Ro fidgeting with his energi-rod, setting it up for Adam to grab it here in the third panel. It's touches like that that make me appreciate Dillin more and more. Great page here. |

Owner: Arnie Grieves Comment posted on 2/18/2015 One of my favorite Flash villians, Heat Wave as drawn by Saviuk is classic. Chiaramonte did great job inking this series over several different artists, but he always did a great job. And you're right with Saviuk only doing seven issues... leaving his pages from this series a bit hard to come by. |
