Description

The cover of Dark Horse 1992 one-shot THIRTEEN O'CLOCK, which introduced Mr. Murmur. The original artwork is 11" x 14" - watercolor and ink on watercolor paper. To quote Richard: "The scan doesn't do justice to the rich, warm earth tones and grays, as well as the delicate line work. This is one of my all-time personal favorite paintings - as well as, in my humble opinion, one of my best and most characteristic pieces. I hate to give it up! - So I am hoping it finds a good home".

Provenance: Bought privately from Richard Sala in 2012.

Well done Lars on landing one of Richard Sala's BEST pieces, it is now in the FORTRESS of Sala artwork !!!!!

Sala has done a lot of comics since this one but this is probably my favorite period (early 90s) of his. Could be the nostalgia talking.
