Description

A Deadbolt pinup by JJ Kirby. The piece was done either for a new version of Who's Who or as a chara-design for the DCU online game on which JJ worked. I think the firgure is very powerful here and the background with the skull and bolt works pretty well in terms of design It would have sounded too much as an idea on paper but JJ pulls it off. What really got me though was the abundant use of cross hatching on the figure, I really like that stylistically when done right :)
