Description

Here's the opening double-page splash to the terrific three issue Return to NY story arc (issues 19-21) that brought the creative forces of Eastman & Laird back together again...as well as the return of the Shredder. This storyline features arguably one of the greatest TMNT stories ever written so landing this spread was monumental for me. Such detail in the trash, and water, and of course Raphael. And the line work...So. Many. Lines!

Also, I'm thrilled to announce that this piece will be one of eight from my collection to be featured in the San Francisco-based Cartoon Art Museum during their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Exhibition from May 2014 - September 2014 to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the TMNT. This will be the only time I let these pieces leave my steel grip so if you want to see these amazing pieces in person get on out to the museum!
