DescriptionI don't even know where to start. Jim Lee came to Big Wow! Comic Fest 2012 and the fans got a treat. Jim was kind enough to do sketches free for the fans! :O It was awesome that he just went for it and sat for hours signing, sketching and taking pictures with fans and not only that, he seemed appreciative of us for waiting and coming by to see him. I got the dubious responsibility of being the last person in line so I had to give bad news to many fans so that was a beating. I wasn't even sure I was going to have a chance since Jim needed to catch a flight but he made the best effort to take care of everyone he could and I was lucky enough to get this sketch! I've seen a couple other sketches he did for the con and from what I've seen I might of got a little extra pencil details because I was the last sketch of the con for Jim. Anyway, what I appreciated the most was he treated his fans really really well. It had to be quick but he gave a lot of people moments which was fun to watch and you can tell everyone who had a chance loved it and really thankful for it. Anyway, a big thank you to Jim for doing this and Big Wow for inviting him! :) Also, everyone who made easier like Eddy. Thank you x 1,000,000!** Update: I added a picture of the sign I had to wear on my back to get my sketch. Ted, from Big Wow and who gave put it on me, made a suggestion I should get it signed so Eddy let me put in my pile at the last second. I felt like it was a badge of honor for all the drama related to being last in line in this kind of situation but it was an honor to serve! To all the last in liners, I salute you! Social/Sharing |
