My brother Stuart imported many French copies of Juanjo Guarnido's Blacksad and Sorcelleries. When Dark Horse released a new Blacksad English edition in 2010, I was able to fully appreciate the work. It is truly brilliant. When I heard Juanjo was coming to the Big Wow! ComicFest in San Jose, I was thrilled to get the chance to meet him. Thanks to the con for bringing Juanjo to his first US appearance.
