Description

This is one of those dreams come true, I decided take a shot at having living legend, Joe Kubert do a take on a character Joe has not to the best of my knowledge drawn in at least 60 years...the original Black Cat.

I'm a huge fan of the Golden Age character that was a mainstay of the Harvey books right into the 60s.

As many of you know Joe has a great book called "How to Draw From Life" out now and he is offering a sketch with the purchase of a one of the first 100 copies. Joe kindly agreed to my request that he return to a character he drew in the early days of his career.

I can't find the adequate words to covey my deep appreciation to Joe and his associate Rich DeJesus, to say I am over the roof about this once in a lifetime commission opportunity is the greatest of understatements.

I also need to acknowledge the inspiration and urging of Rob Stolzer who encouraged me to take the chance to get my second Joe Kubert commission.
