DescriptionRonnie Raymond IS Firestorm. At least to me and those that grew up when I did. PPerhaps the most visuallly compelling charcater out there(puffy slleeves and all). Of all the pieces George did for me, this is the biggest trip down memory lane because I was hooked on Firestorm as a kid.Social/Sharing |

Firestorm will always remind me of watching Super Friends on Saturday mornings.

Of all of your G.P. JLA pieces this one if definetly in the top 3. Just another example of why G.P. is held in such high esteem. BRAVO!

Back in the 1980s, Perez illustrating Firestorm in the pages of JLA always was a special treat. Congratulation on owning this neat trip down memory lane.

It's a known secret that George Perez can draw ANY character pretty great... He can draw all of them together pretty great !! There are however, some key characters which he draws not just great, but better than anyone - Firestorm is one of them ! As your pinup here shows - Perez's take on Firestorm is probably the best ever.

I was 16 or 17 when Firestorm first hit the stands. I'm with you, I love the character. If I couldn't be Superman or Capt.Marvel/Shazam. I'd want to be Firestorm to clean up all the nuclear & toxic waste/accidents! Excellent piece congrads! One of the most original looking character designs too!

Fantastic piece. I grew up with Firestorm (the 1982 series) and this brings back fun memories. An excellent Firestorm example.

Like you, Firestorm was on of those 80s heroes that blew my mind as a young comic collector. Not only does George capture that raw energy so well, but he also shows how cool and compelling that original design can be. My favorite in the series!
