I bought this directly from Scott McDaniel who has been an excellent person to deal with. I was surprised that this was still around and was very fortunate to get this. I have always wanted Daredevil to battle Venom and it finally happend in this issue. This looks like a vicious takeover of Matt Murdock. It would make an interesting story if the symbiote did takeover Daredevil for a bit. Can you imagine?

A great creative team put this together and I still remember reading this like it was yesterday. This was kept as a pencil only cover. The other piece (copy) to this cover was painted.

This is such a Great Detailed Cover that I'm going to hold onto. Scott McDaniel's work has been magnificent and I'm blessed to own some part of it.

Update 10/2/13 - Derek Fisher inked a copy of this at my request. I wanted it inked because it was never done before. He did a great job on the inks.

A Great Pickup, and a piece that needs to be seen up close to really appreciate the skill and detail Scott put into it. Definitely one of the more unique DD covers. Plus, with Venom, how can you ever go wrong??

Awesome idea, having it inked!! Turned out beautifully, Venom looks great in b&w! I hate you a little more just now! ;)
