Spider-Man and Man-Thing by Mike Esposito

This image of Spider-Man and Man-Thing by Mike Esposito is recreation of an image originally by the great Ross Andru. This was originally sold by Esposito himself on eBay in the early 2000s. I purchased it from the original buyer. More info from the original buyer: " Mike had this available with a bunch of other pieces online. He was doing these recreation I guess to stay in practice. This was actually a splash page from a Giant Size Spidey 4. It was not a complete recreation as The Lizard was not drawn in. If you look at Manthints hand he is grasping what should be Lizard's tail and swinging him, causing Spidey to leap and duck under his body. But this looks like he was swinging a punch at Spidey, do for me it was perfect. I did gonon to have a few commission's by Mike. He had several if this particular piece is varying stages of completion available. Thus was the most completed that I really liked.
