Tarzan and the Jewels of Opar

Here is the description from the original owner who is best suited to describe the process of how this beauty was created!This piece is a fully finished 11”x 17” ink and watercolor painting by one of Mr Buscema’s best inkers, the great Bob McLeod. After acquiring the pencil rough, I contacted Mr. McLeod and had him lightbox the artwork and do a complete finish and this stunning piece of art was the result. He has incorporated elements of the original rough in addition to using Mr. Buscema’s final artwork for reference. I also asked for several new elements and textures, including the topless La, high-priestess of Opar.
Mr. McLeod also inked this piece entirely in brush as a tribute to Mr. Buscema, who inked exclusively in brush.
