I picked up this "pencil test" of Hawkgirl (Tess' words) from her Etsy site a few days ago when I saw via Facebook she was having a 2 hour half-off sale. Well, I missed the sale by *minutes* but I was so taken by this drawing I bought it anyway. The light shading with red colored pencil was a nice touch, but I was especially drawn in by the expressiveness of Shayera's face (I'm assuming this is Shayera... definitely get more of her than I do of Kendra). Thanks to Tess Fowler to sending this off so quickly!
