Devlin Waugh by the amazing Sean Phillips...co creator with John Smith ( writer )......Original artwork from the published 2000AD comic and Best of 2000AD Special Edition (1995 ).......Now almost 20 years old and looks like new !!. Colours are fabulous....Also includes the original acetate overlay with speech bubbles / dialogue......

A Fabulous short story with Devlin Waugh. Devlin is a Vatican 'enforcer' who after the events with vampires in Aquatraz undersea prison, is now a vampire himself. This, however does not stop him from enjoying the 'finer' things in life..... Arriving in MegaCity 1 for a Cat Breeders convention he runs foul of Dredd and the rules........This is due, in part, to the fact his luggage contains numerous prohibited items......Including restricted livestock, 'porn' & blood bags....Imagine a cross between Noel Coward and Arnie Schwartzenneger.

Speaking to Sean at Comic Con ( Leeds November 2012 ) he said they sailed ' close to the wind ' regarding nudity in this story, and had to place speech bubbles to cover certain aspects of the painting...
