Description
Back in the 70's, I believe, Jack Kirby did a series of pencil sketches that eventually became his Heroes And Villains sketchbook. Over the years, Angel's been inking various pieces and he's now selling them on eBay. A nice gift from Angel. On top of the other pieces I got from him he also include this Skull re-creation. Whenever I think of the Red Skull, the character, I always come back to his appearance in Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends and the way the actor let loose when he said, "The ~Red Skull~!". Gloriously over the top. I can't look at this one without hearing that voice.

Original size 11x17

Also, Angel's made no secret of the fact that he's hit some hard times. Please give Angel's eBay page a look see. He's got some great Kirby recreations up for sale.

I'm glad you put the word recreation on this but I would really like it if the piece were signed "after Jack Kirby" or in some way indicated that there were no pencils under Angel's inks. I hate the idea that some owner 20 years from now might try to sell this as a Kirby original.

Angel actually has that on the back. I forget the exact wording but it's something along the lines of "Inked by Angel over Jack's pencils". He started adding it a few years ago when he found folks trying to sell his pieces, as you say, as having actually been touched by the King. It's something he also states in his eBay listings so folks don't get confused.
