Description

A really great pre-convention piece of Supergirl/Cirl-El by Mahmud Asrar. I loved his work on Dynamo 5 and finally got something by him. He's currently the artist of the New 52's Supergirl so I thought it'd be fun to see him take a stab at Cir-El. I wracked my brain originally trying to figure out what I'd want from him and kinda flip flopped until I aw a prior piece he did of the new 52 Supergirl playing a games system, a Wii I believe. So I thought it'd be fun to see Cir-El playing a handheld and then it occurred to me how similar she was thematically to Xion from Kingdom Hearts, a black haired girl who was loveable and then died/was wiped out of history. So here we have Cir-El playing Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance and getting overly emotional when she sees Xion in the game, who none of the games main characters remember anymore.
