Syndicated by General Features Corporation, Josephine, a single-panel gag strip, ran daily (Monday - Saturday) from 1959-1967. Meaning, no more than 2504 examples appeared during the strips eight year run. Many examples, approximately 2,134, were gifted by the artist, Charles Skiles, in 1967 to the Syracuse University Library, Special Collections Research Center making examples of this strip very rare in private collections.
