Description17"X 14" Drawing of The Thing on large sheet 2 ply bristol paper with original unpublished brush and ink illustration of this classic character. Drawn In vintage style. Illustration is suitible for framing. Angel Gabriele worked 30 Years in the Biz, for Marvel, DC, Independents, Worked with Kelly Freas, Mark Texiera, Denys Cowan ( When you find Gabe or Angel hidden in a Cowan story between 1988-1995, It's him) His Indiana based studio co-designed the Milestone universe and did the bible art for others to follow. Although he started in 1971 learning basics from Kelly Freas in his Virgina Beach Studio, went to work for Bucker in NYC in 1974, doing a lot of his "Kirby " stuff, and many others, some credited, some ghosted. His 1st credited work for DC was Kobra #4 in 1976, His last credited work for DC was Hardware #36. He inked the "Frank" comics over Denys Cowan for Nemisis, inked Static #17, Long Hot Summer #3, drew the covers to DC's Impact line, The Web 6, 7, 8,.
