This one is very special and the perfect piece to post on Thanksgiving Day.

First it is is a great page with Joe Staton and Bob Layton at their peak as they worked together. Both artists had such overpowering styles that it is suprising that on the Justice Society neither artist overpowered the other and the combination was one of the great artistic teams ups of the 70s.

Secondly, I am always grateful to pick up a page from their fabled run on the revived All Star Comics that I absolutely loved back in the Bronze Age.

But most importantly, I am grateful to list member Will K, who agreed to do this deal in late summer and then patiently waited three months until I had enough money to complete the the deal. The joy of being a member of the CAF is that you meet great people with a mutual interest in our hobby. Will is certainly one of those folks and this Thanksgiving Day I am grateful to Will K for his honoring his commitment.

Michael, Congrats! The Staton/Layton JSA is my favorite run, as it is where I started collecting comics many years ago. I'm happy this is in a collection where it is appreciated!

Beautiful page. Love the Dr. Fate helmet shot with the glimmer on it. One of my favorite pages. Great pick up. Jealous.
