Description

Picked up an amazing Conan from Cary at Heroes Con 2012 and just had to have a Dark Phoenix by him. Along with the Hellboy by D. Fegredo in my gallery, this piece was the other primary reason I went to this show. I knew Cary would really do her justice since he likes the character. With the colors he uses on these conv. commissions, he surely didn't disappoint! Cary's use of color, Jean's hair, her fingertips and that incredibly "dark" smile are my favorite parts of this one. SO much better than expected-thank you Cary! NC COMIC CON 2012.
